AkzoNobel Aerospace Coatings and Pantheon Enterprises, a manufacturer of chrome-free aircraft pretreatments have been working together over the last two years to develop an advanced chrome-free aircraft pretreatment that will be sold globally through AkzoNobel Aerospace Coatings’ global distribution network. The pretreatment, to be marketed under the AkzoNobel Metaflex brand, will be known as Metaflex SP and has been developed to meet the AMS3095 specification as part of a number of AkzoNobel Aerospace coatings systems.
